Roland: Roland, where is my book?
رولاند: على الترابيزة ، جنب القاموس.
Roland: On the table, next to the dictionary.
هالة: لأ مش هنا ، جنب القاموس مفيش حاجة.
Roland: No, it's not here. Next to the dictionary there is nothing.
رولاند: طيب ، هـِناك، بين الكـُـتـُب على المـَكـْتب ، أو تحت الكشـْكول.
Roland: Okay, there between the books on the desk, or under the notebook.
هالة: همم ، لأ ، بـَرْضــُه مش هنا ، و مش تحت الكشكول.
Roland: Hmm, no, also not here, and not under the notebook.
رولاند: مـُمـْكـِن جوّه الشـَّنـْطة ؟
Roland: Maybe it's inside the bag?
هالة: لأ ، أكيد برّه الشـَّنـْطة ، عشان الشـَّنـْطة فاضية.
Roland: No, surely it's outside the bag, because the bag is empty.
رولاند: الكِتاب أهو ، فوق التليفزيون ، ده مكان غريب قوي !
Roland: Here is the book, on top of the TV; that's a very strange place.

Hi Munawar,

Thank you for your question.

عشان and علشان are variations of the same Egyptian Arabic word, meaning "because". For instance:

هشرب عشان عطشان

I will drink because I am thirsty.

Can you write out the English romanization and add the pronunciation of the sentence "Can I take a photo here?(Egyptian Arabic)" in the expansion section? Thanks!
