INTRODUCTION
Becky: Must-Know Egyptian Arabic Social Media Phrases Season 1, Lesson 4 - Sharing a Song.
Becky: Hi everyone, I'm Becky.
Amr: And I'm Amr.
Becky: In this lesson, you'll learn how to post and leave comments in Egyptian Arabic when sharing music or videos. Mona shares a song she just heard at a party, posts an image of it, and leaves this comment:
Amr: الأغنية دي بتفكرني بالأيام الحلوة. (ālʾuġneyyah dī betfakkarnī belʾayyām el-ḥelwah.)
Becky: Meaning - "This song reminds me of the good old days." Listen to a reading of the post and the comments that follow.
