Hi, everyone! My name is Peryhan and this is Arabic Top Words. Today, we have the top 10 hardest words to pronounce, as you can tell from the title.
1.
قهوة
(ʾahwah)
"coffee"
For example, you can say -
أنا بحب قهوتي سادة.
(ʾanā baḥebb ʾahwetī sādah.)
"I like my coffee without sugar or milk."
For the word
قهوة
(ʾahwah)
the action standard Arabic word is
قهوة.
(qahwah)
with a little cough. But to ease it up, to make it easier to pronounce, we use the letter (ʾah).
قهوة
(ʾahwah). Sometimes for non-Arabic speakers, even the letter (ʾah) is kind of difficult to pronounce. That’s what makes it a little difficult.

(ṣobḥ)
"morning"
For example,
أنا دايماً بكون مستعجلة الصبح.

"I'm always in a hurry in the morning."
For the word

lots of people cannot pronounce the letter

And sometimes, you mix it with

I think it’s mostly difficult because of the

(ġ).

(mašġūl)
"busy"
أنا مشغول أوي النهارده.
(ʾanā mašġūl ʾawī el-nahārdah.)
"I'm quite busy today."
And I think it’s also because of the
غ
(ġ).

سلحفة
(solḥefāh)
"turtle"
Sometimes, people mix it with
سحلفة
(soḥlefah)
أنا زمان كنت بربي سلحفة.
(ʾanā zamān kont barabbī solḥefah.)
Did I say it right? Yeah.
"I used to take care of a turtle."
7.
امتحان
(ʾemtaḥān)
"exam"
عندي امتحان بكرة.
(ʿandī ʾemtaḥān bokrah.)
"Tomorrow, I have an exam."

احتلال
(ʾeḥtelāl)
"occupation"
نهاية الاحتلال البريطاني في مصر كان سنة 1956.
(nehāyah el-eḥtelāl el-brīṭānī fī maṣr kān sanat 1956.)
"Termination of the British occupation in Egypt was in 1956."

ربيع
(rabīʿ)
"spring"
بيتميز فصل الربيع في مصر بإنه مليان عواصف رملية.
(beyetmayyez faṣl el-rabīʿ fī maṣr bʾennoh malyān ʿawaāṣef ramleyyah.)
"Spring, in Egypt, is known to have a lot of sand storms."
Maybe
ربيع
(rabīʿ)
is difficult because of the

so say
ربيع
(rabīʿ).

خريف
(ḫarīf)
"fall or autumn"
For example, you can say -
بلبس جاكيت خفيف في الخريف.
(balbes ǧāket ḫafīf fī el-ḫarīf.)
This is a tongue twister.
بلبس جاكيت خفيف في الخريف.
(balbes ǧāket ḫafīf fī el-ḫarīf.)
"I wear a light jacket in fall."
