Becky: Here's the informal way to say 'No, thanks.' in Egyptian Arabic.
Nora: [Normal] لا, ميرسي.(lā, mīrsī.)
Becky: First is a word meaning 'no'
Nora: [Normal] لا [Slow] لا (lā)
Becky: Last is the word meaning 'thanks'
Nora: [Normal] ميرسي [Slow] ميرسي(mīrsī)
Becky: Listen again to the informal phrase meaning 'No, thanks.'
Nora: [Slow] لا, ميرسي. [Normal] لا, ميرسي.
Becky: Ok, now let's take a look at the way to say 'No, thank you.'
