Practicing arabic - seeking a learning partner

Postby nur_al_alam » January 7th, 2010 12:26 am

Hi,
I am a new subscriber to ArabicPod101. I am at beginner level. What ever I am learning, I wanted to practice with someone, who is a learner or a native arabic speaker but willing to help.

I am based in Melbourne, Australia. I have skype, so if he/she have skype or based in US or AUS, then it would be much appreciated.

I thinking to pratice 15 minutes, if any one is available to help, that would be much appreciated.

Regards

Alam

Hej Nur_al_alam!

I wish you luck in your pursuit, for this is something of a desert! You might notice that I also have a notice out there looking for a language-practice partner; I still have not had a significant response, and I have been seeking rather a long time!

I am based in Scandinavia, and I have both Skype and Messenger, if you are interested in working with me (at least until some more suitable partner makes an appearance). We live in very different time-zones, and that is a problem, of course, but not an insurmountable one, and where there is a will there is a way, as they say. Besides, any assistance we can afford one another is still better than nothing (and I am sorry if that, too, sounds like a cliché!).

Hi,
I’ve already added " alam_nur" to my Skype contacts.
I've studied Arabic on and off for more than a year now all by myself since there are no courses around here. I'd appreciate the chance of exchanging info, experiences etc.
My Skype-ID is thomasfranke, I'm based in Central Europe.
الى اللقاء, انشاء الله
