Alisha: These words are used commonly in Egyptian Arabic, but they have Turkish origins. Most Egyptians don't even know that, so use them to surprise your Egyptian friends! |

Sherif: طز (ṭuz) |
Sherif: يلا (yallā) |
Sherif: تمام (tamām) |
Sherif: في المشمش (fī el-mešmeš) |
Alisha: Sherif, what's our first expression? |
Sherif: طز (ṭuz) |
Alisha: literally meaning "I don't care." And when it's used as a slang expression, it also means "I don't care." |
