I'm not familiar with the word "محتفرقة"

in the sentence "طقس اليوم مشمس مع غيوم محتفرقة".

Can you please explain?

Good point!

It does. It's just not vowelled in the final letter, so it's sounds like "amtara"

The sound for the last word, the verb "ʾmṭar" (to rain), doesn't seem to match the writing in Arabic. Is it correct? Thanks.
