Oh, then Egyptian Arabic it is! Check the list I posted in the below comment for our current Egyptian arabic lessons :D
I'm interested in Egyptian Arabic.
Yeah, MSA is Modern Standard Arabic. That's the one I was talking about :).
Hmmm MSA isn't exactly used in conversations in any country. MSA is the official language for all Arab countries though, meaning that the news on TV and in the newspapers, and any other official spoken/written Arabic is in MSA. Now for the conversation part, every country has its own dialect which is different from MSA and needs to be learned on its own.
I hope this answers your question! Which part of the Middle East are you interested in?
I have one more question: I've noticed that lots of series are recorded in 'Standard Arabic' . I'm not so sure if you mean 'MSA' under 'Standard Arabic', so where is it spoken?? I hope you'll answer my question.
Mostly Standard, but we are working on classifying them atm :)
Here's a list of the Egyptian Arabic lessons available so far:
Introduction - Basic boot camp
Absolute Beginner - Newbie season 2
Absolute Beginner - 3 minute Egyptian Arabic
Absolute Beginner - Survival phrases season 2
Intermediate - Lower intermediate
And more to come in the future! Stay tuned :)
The words in the Core Word Lists and in the Vocab lists are with MSA or dialect??
Hope you'll answer my question! BTW, which series teach Egyptian Arabic? Shukran Jazilan!
