Hi,

Again, congratulations on your new site. My temporary membership has now expired. I note and appreciate the one-month discount you are currently offering. However, I must say — gently but as an informed consumer — that the current full ‘premium’ or ‘basic’ which you are charging (commensurate with JapanesePod101, etc) does not really reflect the limited services you currently offer. In short, could you not charge an ‘introductory’ fee until you’re up to full speed? I understand that the ‘launch’ discount may be meant to do such a thing — but, as it auto renews at full price within a month, I’m hesitant.

Thank you,
Sean

Hello Sean,

Thank you for the kind words, for voicing your concern, and for your patience while we implemented everyone’s valuable feedback and ideas. We are happy to inform you that starting this week ArabicPod101.com will be publishing lessons at least 3 times a week (ramping up to 4 very quickly).

As a way of showing our extreme gratitude for everyone’s patience and support at such an early stage of existence, we are offing the first 101 subscribers who join our Founding Father’s Club, a grandfathered 50% discount on any subscription for LIFE (as well as a few other perks).

This special offer has been very well received, and the Founding Father’s Club is quickly filling up. To learn more about the Founding Father’s Club and to sign up please check out this link:

I forgot to say that I also have heard “‘afwan” commonly used for “you’re welcome”. It’s from the same root as “al-’afuu”, just the adverbial form. Maybe the change in form is dialectical.

Ya Eran –

Thanks for taking time to explain the Founding Father’s/Mother’s Club, and its benefits. Al hamdu lillah, surely, you have made a generous offer, one that I am pleased to take advantage of.

Best,
Sean
